Chabad Buckhurst Hill Gala Fundraising Dinner – Green Screen Photography

As part of their Chabad Building Campaign, the Chabad Lubavitch of Buckhurst Hill held a Gala Fundraising Dinner at the Prince Regent Hotel, Woodford Bridge Essex last Thursday In my role of, Maître Sabreur et Connétable d’Essex I offered as an auction prize the opportunity to Sabrage a bottle of Champagne that evening and to be inducted as a Sabreur in La Confrérie du Sabre d’Or.

Maitre-Sabreur David Court and Rabbi Brandman

In a unique twist, the winning bidder who offered £600, then immediately gave the prize to Rabbi Odham Brandman (pictured) of the Chabad Buckhurst Hill, who duly sabraged the bottle of Champagne (I having first sabraged a bottle by way of demonstration) and was intronised in front of the 300 guests.

With the assistance of Michaela and Andrea from The Photo People I also provided a green screen studio for the evening’s event – the background being Rabbi Odham’s collection of Single Malt Whiskey.

A very worthwhile and fun evening.
