Needless to say this being England in August it rained – No problem , whilst Anne and Alex and the wedding party remained dry under a huge gateway, I took the photographs balancing an umbrella.

I was delighted to be part of Anne and Alex’s special day when they were married at the beautiful Maidens Barn in the heart of the Essex Countryside.
During the ceremony Alex’s Sister sang accompanied by Guitar – although not a professional singer the performance was both superb and moving.
Fortunately the rain stopped long enough for the confetti to be dispensed over the newly married couple.
The speeches which preceded the wedding Breakfast were enthusiastically received – Anne’s Father gave a very accomplished speech.
But as in all cases it was the speeches of the Best Men which were both anxiously awaited (and feared) by all in attendance – they did not disappoint!
After the Wedding Breakfast there was time for a few more photographs which Alex in particular appeared to enjoy.
A specially choreographed dance which was brilliantly performed by the younger guests started off the evenings celebrations.
