Wedding Photographers Essex - Reminder to myself - I must keep my Blog up to date!

Geoffry Archer once wrote that the hardest part of writing a novel (read Blog) is sitting down - I concur and promise to do better.

Over the last week (when not photographing widgets and other commercial necessities) I met up and assisted my good friend Richard Palmer with his Toastmaster Training and met new member of the English Toastmasters Association Michael Wall. Together we also visited the Church of St John the Evangelist and St Erconwald at Ingatestone where Clare and Pat are being married on the 23rd May with the reception at Layer Marmey Tower.

On Sunday I went to All Saints Church Theydon Garnon - Jess and Jack were also there to hear their Banns being read - I am photographing their wedding there on the 28th May (the reception will be at Gaynes Park).

Earlier last week I visited my fencing club (The Lansdowne Club). Over a glass of wine we all agreed how healthy sport was - of the 8 fencers present 6 were carrying injuries of which 5 were directly attributable to sport (2 hips (mine included), one back, the remaining shoulders and arms) - the one exception was an injury incurred whilst looking for Polar Bears in the Arctic Circle - crashed snowmobile.

I also learnt that my eldest daughter - Rebecca, had been accepted to read Photography at the Royal College of Art for her Masters in September.

Pre Wedding Photographs Gaynes Park and All Saints Church Theydon Garnon - Jess and Jack

On Monday I met Jess and Jack at Theydon Garnon Church for their pre wedding photo shoot, they are being married there in May.

The red brick tower at Theydon Garnon was added in 1520 - a relatively modern addition to a church who's chancel dates back to the 13th Century.

The reception will be held at the wonderful Gaynes Park Barns with Wedding Photographers Essex - CourtOnCamera recording the day.

Natasha and Ed's Wedding Anniversary - Wedding Photographs Gosfield Hall

It was a year this month that I had the great pleasure of creating Natasha and Ed's wedding photographs at Gosfield hall. During the year they have moved house (actually that was 1 week before) and brought into the world a beautiful addition to the family.
The only task left to make the year complete was to choose the photographs for the album which we did today. It was like meeting an old friend and little did I know it at the time, that I was to photograph Ed's Work colleague Kwan ( who married Lucy at Gaynes Park) the very next day.

Oh I do so love being a member of the Master Photographers Association who are Wedding Photographers in Essex.

The Wedding Photographs of Ashley and Helen All Saints Church Edmonton and Gaynes Park

This Friday I had the great pleasure of photographing Ashley and Helen's Wedding at Edmonton and Gaynes Park near Epping Essex - An Essex Wedding Photographer's dream.
The service was conducted by the Rev Barry Oakley who has known Helen throughout her life (I believe he Christened her) and who came out of retirement to perform the ceremony.
Entertainment for the little ones was provided on the day by a real Princess .....
Throughout my good friend and Toastmaster - Ted Prior ensured that everything ran smoothly. Wedding Photography in Essex and at Gaynes Park could not have been more perfect!

Ashley and Helen Pre-Wedding Shoot by CourtOnCamera THE Wedding Photographer Essex

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of meeting up with Ashley and Helen for the planning meeting and pre-wedding shoot prior to their marriage later on this month at All Saints Church Edmonton and Gaynes Park (CourtOnCamera are recommended wedding photographers at Gaynes Park Essex).
The shoot took place at their home in Enfield on a somewhat gloomy evening - it had just started to rain. My trusty Nikon D3 and 85mm 1.4 lens coped well with the bad lighting and inclement conditions. For the technically minded the shot above was taken at 20sec F5.6 at 6400ASA in Ashley and Helen's front hall.

Despite the weather on Saturday I had a wonderful time photographing David and Ann's wedding at the Church of St John the Baptist Leytonstone with the reception at Gaynes Park Epping . My colleague Andrew Morgan of the The English Toastmasters Association www.englishtoastmasters.co.uk/ provided vital assistance throughout the day - as can be seen toastmasters are not only known for their ability to operate a Dualit www.dualit.com/.
The evening entertainment was provided by DJ Mitch and the Classic Nomad Disco www.thedisco.co.uk/.
