The Museum of London

The Museum of London which is the worlds largest urban history museum is currently developing an exciting £20 million gallery complex due to open in spring next year.

The "Galleries of Modern London" will reflect how the "vibrant unflagging energy of Londoners has shaped the modern city" - I am honoured to have been selected to provide an image which will be used as part of a graphic in these new galleries - which one? There of course is only one way to find out.

Mark and Emma's Wedding at Winder Hall - Cumbria

From the Daily Telegraph June 19th 2009 - "Mr M.A. Murray-Flutter and Miss E.M. Robinson.The engagement is announced between Mark Anthony, son of the late Major Anthony Murray-Flutter and of Mrs Murray-Flutter, of Dumfriesshire and Emma Mary, only daughter of Dr and Mrs Quentin Robinson of Ilkley"

Mark is a good and longstanding friend as well as fellow fencer - I have been honoured to have been asked to photograph his wedding with Emma at Winder Hall in April of next year.

By a really strange co-incidence Winder Hall is owned and run by Nick Lawler. Nick is a member of the English Toastmasters Association (of which I am an Honorary Fellow Member) alongside my good friend and Toastmaster Richard Palmer.

Katy and John's Pre-Wedding Photographs St Augustine's Priory Bilsington in Kent

On Sunday I met John and Katy for their Pre-Wedding Photographs at the beautiful St Augustine's Priory at Bilsington in Kent.
Katie and John, following their marriage at the Parish Church in her family village of Wye, will have the Wedding Breakfast and celebrations here next month.
It was lovely meeting Katy again - she was a bridesmaid for Chris and Nicole's at their Wedding at Ickworth House in July 2007.

Essex Wedding Photographers will become Kent Wedding photographers for the day, whilst John will be well and truly CourtOnCamera - we share the same family name!!

The Wedding of Faye and Richard at Thaxted Church and Spain's Hall

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing Faye and Richards Wedding at Thaxted Church and Spain's Hall.
Faye arrived in a white glass coach pulled by white heavy horses provided by The Ostler Carriage Company .The Toastmaster for the day was my good friend Richard Palmer with Videograpy provided by John Rose .The Church at Thaxted dominates the village and surrounding countryside - it is huge and necessitated the use of my 200-400mm F4 (for the techies amongst you) to get in close.The Rev Raymond Taylor presided in what was a very personal and warm ceremony.The church is also known for it's Pilgrims Door - which has access on three sides, it made a beautiful setting for photographs.The reception was held at nearby Spain's Hall the gardens of which are stunning.All photographs copyright Essex Wedding Photographers CourtOnCamera.

Emma's Bat Mitzvah - Forty Hall Enfield

Yesterday afternoon I visited the beautiful Forty Hall in Enfield with my good friend and photographer Andrea (The Photo People).
I will be photographing her daughter Emma's Bat Mitzvah here in September (if I can stop her mum borrowing my camera - which she has taken a shine to).

Alicia and Ken's Wedding Photographs - Blake's Golf Course

On Sunday I had the great pleasure of photographing Alicia and Ken's Wedding at the Blake's Golf Course near North Weald in Essex and their son's Christening earlier at St Thomas of Canterbury Church Woodford Green.Following the wedding ceremony, Ken took Alicia for a spin in his dream vehicle which had been significantly customised for their special day.The weather was glorious only surpassed by the beaming smiles displayed by a young son and his proud parents.
The happy couple danced the night away in spectacular fashion.

Catherine and Simon's Wedding Gaynes Park Barns - Epping

On Friday a had the pleasure of photographing Catherine and Simon's Wedding at the stunning Gaynes Park Barns near Epping.
Catherine was escorted up the long path to her waiting husband to be by her adoring Father.The ceremony took place in the Orangery which was bathed in warm sunshine - so rare this week.
Afterwards Catherine and Simon took a walk in the beautiful and secluded gardens in which Gaynes Park is set.

Louise and Alex's Pre Wedding Photographs at the Tewinbury Farm Hotel

On Wednesday I met Louise and Ales for their pre wedding photographs at the Tewinbury Barn Hotel near Tewin in Hertfordshire - they are to be married there at the end of this month.
Louise was a bridesmaid at Helen and Adrian's wedding which I photographed nearly 3 years ago.
