CLA Game Fair - Belvoir

Last weekend I took time out from photographing weddings in Essex to visit the CLA Gamefair at Belvoir (pronounced Beever) in Leicestershire. For me this is an annual pilgrimage lasting 3 days. The Gamefair portrays all things good about the country and all things that are great in Britain. This year was no exception.


Friday saw a display by the Minden Band of the Queens Division - overflown by a Mk19 Spitfire of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

On Saturday I watched Annette Usher (mother of my good friend Georgina) represent Scotland very successfully in the gundog trials.

Overall thee fantastic days.

Jo and Noel's Pre Wedding Photographs at Spains Hall

Last Sunday I met Jo and Noel for their Pre Wedding Photographs and Planning Meeting at Spains Hall near Finchingfield. Jo and Noel are to be married there in September of this year.

Whilst we were there we were able to be shown the main house which is undergoing renovation and will shortly open for Marriage Ceremonies - to say it is magnificent is an understatement.

Laura and Karl's Wedding Photographs Blake Hall near Ongar

On Saturday I had the great pleasure in photographing Laura's marriage to Karl at the beautiful Blake Hall Wedding Venue near Ongar.The toastmaster for the day was my good friend Richard Palmer of the English Toastmasters Association.After the ceremony Laura and Karl went for a short drive in an open top Ford.With the reception being held in the Medieval Barn whereupon great merriment ensued.All photographs copyright Essex Wedding Photographers CourtOnCamera.

Jo and Paul's Pre Wedding Photographs Blakes Golf Course near North Weald

Last week I met Jo and Paul for their pre wedding photographs at Blakes Golf Course - Jo and Paul are having their wedding reception there at the end of August.
Unlike the last few days the evening was glorious - although there was a hint of rain as we left - funny isn't it how the weather in the UK is the favourite topic of conversation!

Claire and Iain's Pre Wedding Photographs The Grand Hotel Tynemouth

On Saturday I traveled up to the North East - Home to Stottie Cakes and Newcastle Brown for the pre wedding photographs of Claire and Iain.
Claire and Iain are getting married at the Grand Hotel Tynemouth in May next year and have asked CourtOnCamera to record their special day. The hotel overlooks the North Sea, is within view of Tynemouth Priory and 20 feet from the beach.....

Last week I met Faye and Richard for their pre wedding photographs and planning meeting at the stunning Finchingfield wedding venue of Spains Hall.Faye and Richard will first get married at the nearby Thaxted Church - a truly stunning building, followed by the reception at Spain's - all taking place in a few weeks time.

Charlotte and Rogers' Wedding - Hunsdon

Last Saturday I had the great pleasure photographing Charlotte and Roger's Wedding in the picturesque Hertfordshire village of Hunsdon. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev Mark Dunstan at St Dunstan's Church in Hunsdon.Transport was provided by a matching pair of Shire Horses (Charlie is a keen Horsewoman).Having eaten Charlies' Dad's button hole the bouquet was kept well out of reach of the horses.
