Fay and Jim's Wedding Photographs The Whitehall Hotel Broxted and St Mary's Parish Church Broxted

Last Saturday CourtOnCamera Wedding Photographers Essex were invited to photograph Fay and Jim's Wedding at The Whitehall Hotel Broxted and the picturesque St Mary's Church next door. The church houses two memorial windows dedicated to John McCarthy, Terry Waite and Brian Keenan. One of which perfectly matched Fay's colours for the day - purple.Fay got ready at the West View Cottage, Streetly End a picturesque village in Cambridgeshire and about a 40 minute drive from the church. During the ceremony the Vicar took all by surprise by going walkabout with the wedding rings during his sermon and giving them to the youngest bridesmaid to hold. The reception was held at the Whitehall Hotel - next door, Fay and James walked there followed by the guests. The Whitehall Hotel Broxted could not be faulted, the staff were very friendly and food was superb - the surroundings speak for themselves. The barn was lit by candle and fairy lights, it looked magical. Fay and Jim led the dancing under a shower of bubbles.

The Top BIPP and MPA Essex Wedding Photographers Gathering

Last night the great and good of Wedding Photographers in Essex including myself Dave Court of CourtOnCamera, Gavin Woollard, David Islip, Kevin Pengelly and Len Dance gathered at the Mayland Golfclub Romford to listen to Classical Wedding Photographer of the Year - Peter Bristo MBE deliver a presentation. All are members of the BIPP or MPA.

Perhaps for me the most interesting aspect was his work as an Army Photographer - including being shot in the head and surviving by a sniper in Bosnia.

Back to Wedding Photographers Essex - This Saturday CourtOnCamera are photographing Fay and Jame's Wedding at the Whitehall Hotel Broxted.

Chelmsford Town Crier and a Public Execution

Yesterday my good friend Richard Palmer swapped his role of Toastmaster for that of Town Crier in the County Town of Chelmsford at the Heritage Open Day.

One of his less pleasant duties was to announce the public hanging (mock) of Mary May - which attracted a large crowd.

Abi and Russells Wedding Photographs The Whitehall Hotel Broxted and StDunstan's Hundson

Last Saturday CourtOnCamera Wedding Photographers Essex were invited to photograph Abi and Russels Wedding at The Whitehall Hotel Broxted and St Dunstan's Church Hundson. The Service at St Dunston's was conducted by the Rev Dunston - confused yet.

Despite the threat of rain, it just held off. It was however very windy.

The reception was held at the The Whitehall Hotel Broxted, which was quite frankly superb - the staff could not have been friendlier or more efficient.

The gardens were in full bloom - an English Garden at it's finest.

Steven and Anita's Wedding Photographs Marygreen Manor

Last Friday CourtOnCamera THE Wedding Photographers in Essex were invited to photograph Steven and Anita's Wedding at the Marygreen Manor Hotel and Wedding Venue - Brentwood
Yes- it rained all day.
That said, there is something very special about an English Garden in full bloom - even if you have to use an umbrella to enjoy it.
The evenings entertainment was provided by Dream Machine Disco

Brentwood Community Hospital

Today I was commissioned to photograph the brand new Brentwood Community Hospital for publicity purposes on behalf of the South West Essex Primary Care Trust. There has been a hospital on this site for over 100 years. I cannot help thinking how impressed the original founders would have been with the modern facilities provided in a light and airy atmosphere. One has to remind oneself that this is not a Private Facility, but one built specifically to serve the needs of all members of the surrounding communities.
Even the grounds are spectacular - no builders rubble but lovely lawns to look out onto whilst having a cup of tea in the canteen.I have only one complaint - they are not yet licenced for weddings - but perhaps an idea to consider in the future!

Carenna and Gareth's Wedding Photographs at Boreham House

On Saturday Essex Wedding Photographers CourtOnCamera had the great pleasure photographing Carenna and Gareth's Wedding at Our Lady of Grace & St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church and Boreham House Wedding Venue near Chelmsford.
Throughout the day, the Toastmaster was my good friend Richard Palmer, the Disco in the evening was provided by Classic NomadIn the 1930's Boreham House and the surrounding 3000 acres was owned by Henry Ford.
I think the weather surprised everyone - it was glorious! Richard (with his red coat always on) was on hand to look after Carenna and Gareth throughout the day, he was especially welcome arriving with a timely drink of iced water - served of course in Crystal glasses.

I hope to be invited to photograph many more Weddings at Boreham House .
