Chrissie and Sam's Wedding Photographs Pledgdon Barn Essex

On Saturday I had been invited to photograph Chrissie and Sam's wedding at the Pledgdon Barn Wedding Venue near Stanstead in Essex. Chrissie got ready at the most exquisite bed and breakfast - The Cottage Guest House -at nearby Birchanger which comes highly recommended.
Despite upbeat assurances that it would be to the contrary by the Gentleman Farmer and owner of the Barn - The weather was foul - it rained all afternoon and evening.
Nothing however could dampen the spirit of the day in which I felt privileged to participate as their Wedding Photographer.
All 110 guests had a wonderful time - many of which had travelled from Dorset - Chrissie's home county.
All photographs were taken with a Nikon D3, with the new 14-24 F2.8 lens being particularly useful. It was also the first opportunity to use the new SB900 flashgun - it did not disappoint.
